On to Week 11

OMG!

I only road 28 miles of the bikes back course, and it totally killed me.   I was feeling kind of cocky with my exercise accomplishments, and now I am humbled newbie.  Arrrrgh.   How am I going to complete another 84 miles when I can only get through 28?   Each bike lap is 56 miles and 30 of those are significant thigh busting hills.    I did those 28 miles on Saturday and on Sunday I did a make-shift Olympic triathlon ((1 mile swim in the pool, 25miles on the bike trainer, and then 6.2 mile run in the rain)).  

Week eleven is focused on the run.  I will be running every day if my feet will let me. Today I will run for 90min at a very easy pace. Tomorrow I will be doing the first 56 mile loop....much slower and I will try not to cry like a little baby!  Big weekend coming up....more riding and running.

Ooooopps....got to get back to work.
