Hello:
Well week 17 when well. Much of the same workouts except increase distance in the run, and adding a bike combo to the swim. I ran 11 miles of the marathon course on Sunday, and the hill was tough. I am feeling lots of anxiety and frustration at this time. My IM is only a few sheets of calender pages away. The weather sucks for outdoor training. I know I need to increase my weekly long rides from 2-3 hours to 4-5 hours in the next 30-45 days. I have compared my 24 week training plan to the Beginner IM triathlete training plan. Oddly the beginner IM training plan appears to be more difficult and more organized. My wife has given me some good insight and advice and so I have decided to follow the Beginner Triathlete plan for now. If you are following my blog you can follow my workout plans by going to
